PROJECT ST HONORE

 After occupying this property for 9 years, this homeowner was desperate to finally have the comfort she, her daughter and her husband have always wanted.

On the top floor of this pre-1949 home, we found a small 9m2 bedroom and an open space that served as a master bedroom with a few nooks used to store their clothes and belongings.

​

During our first visit, my client expressed her need to enlarge her teenage daughter's bedroom, to enclose the master bedroom and the pressing need for an additional bathroom in the house.

There was no doubt that she needed a true professional. One of the main challenges was the attic roof, which placed many constraints on her ability to project into the space on a daily basis.

​

After a week and a half of studying this space, I presented a project. Not only did it meet all her desires but the client was amazed by my creativity and my ability to optimize the space.

​

In a first step, I drastically enlarged her daughter's room and created privacy with a new enclosed master bedroom. In the second, I conceptualized a dreamy bathroom. I simply blew her parents away by including a separate room as a dressing room, all custom made, with two extra storage spaces in their bedroom as well.

Properties with features like this, especially with slanted roofs, are a challenge for many. I am always happy to not only solve my clients' problems, but also to make their home life like a dream.
